![]() | Fine Linen CareTumble Dry at low temperatures. Always wash towels, linens, and rugs separately. Zippers, hooks, snaps and velcro can snag your linens. We recommend using liquid soaps, as powders often fail to dissolve and may stain or bleach. The only exception would be La Bouquetiere Laundry as it dissolves easily. The other safeguard is to agitate your soap before adding linens. The following are examples of gentle soaps we recommend: LaBlanc Linen Wash, LaBlanc Silk and Lingerie Wash, Ivory Liquid, Dreft Liquid and Planet Liquid. Use maximum water and half the recommended detergent. DO NOT use detergents with Brighteners or Bleach Alternatives these can remove color. DO NOT use fabric softeners. They clog cotton fibers and destroy absorbency. Remember cotton wicks moisture, don't clog the fibers. They can also actually leach color from towels. NEVER use bleach, even on white towels. Many cleaning products, as well as skin and hair care products contain ingredients which cause bleaching. To name a few, blemish creams, products containing alpha hydroxyl and fruit acid, hair coloring products, and teeth whiteners. Remember, avoid any form of "bleach" around your fine linens. | Featured $106.00 ![]() $49.95 ![]() $270.00 ![]() $99.50 ![]() $29.00 ![]() |
